How to Update Mastertuning on Your C8 Speakers:
- If you are not using the included USB stick, format your USB stick to FAT32.
(If you are unsure what this means, search YouTube for "how to format a USB stick to FAT32." It’s a quick and simple process.) - Download the desired Mastertuning file and copy it to the USB stick.
- Ensure there is only one Mastertuning file on the USB stick at a time.
- If you want to try a different file, delete the previous Mastertuning file before copying a new one.
- Turn off the speaker and insert the USB stick into the USB port on the back of the speaker.
- Turn on the speaker while the USB stick is inserted.
- The LED lights on the back of the speaker should perform a quick circular motion, indicating that the Mastertuning has been installed successfully.
- Remove the USB stick and repeat step 4 on the second speaker.
Note:
- If the LED lights move slowly in a circular motion, it means the Mastertuning was not installed correctly. This is likely because the speaker cannot read the USB stick.
- Check if the USB stick is formatted to FAT32 and try again.
- If the installation still fails, try holding the pairing button while turning on the speaker with the USB stick inserted.
- If this doesn’t work, the speaker may not accept your USB stick. Try using a different USB stick.
